" Copper Cannon opened my eyes to outdoors which is still a huge part of my life today. It kept me off the streets and potentially ending up where a lot of my friends did, either in jail or in some cases even ending in death. It allowed me to be a kid forgetting about the troubles in my life such as my alcoholic father. Copper Cannon was my home away from home in the summer and I am sincerely grateful for every bit of the experience."
