About Us

Since 1963, Copper Cannon Camp has been providing a free summer camp for New Hampshire's low income youth. Copper Cannon was born in the imagination of Hamilton Ford. Ham had overcome an underprivileged childhood and much of his success he accredited to his own summer camp experience. Over the course of the summer, more than 500 youth between the ages of 9 and 16 will have a life changing week at Copper Cannon Camp. With positive adult role models, stimulating activities and the White Mountains as a backdrop, these children experience the same camp magic Ham had as a child. Coppper Cannon Camp is a 501 (C)3 non-profit.
